My name is Robyn, and I am equipped with a bachelor's degree in counselling, lived experience in living with chronic health conditions, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and stress, along with a passion for using techniques that work.

 

If you are feeling sad, anxious, confused, overwhelmed, stressed or lost, I can help you discover ways to cope and find your calm or happy.

Mind Body Connection

Mind and body affect each other. An example of this is the change that occurs in our breath when we feel stressed or frightened.

 

Raising awareness of the connection between our actions and feelings to the way we think and act can often help us find balance in our life.

 

Take a deep breath, and ask for help.

 

A sound understanding of yoga, and the connection between mind, body and spirit complements the science of psychology in helping improve quality of life.

 

Counselling is a service that is there to help you cope through difficult times. 

Transpersonal Counselling helps you in discovering your own spiritual meaning and growth.

The Holistic approach considers the person, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

Counselling can help

A counsellor can help you define your goals and collaborate with you to design a plan to achieve them. We can discover ways to help you cope, build resilience, and flourish in life.

 

A series of five sessions is a good start, but this is up to you.

 

I work with a non-judgmental and person-centered approach using cognitive behavioural therapy, art therapy, gestalt, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

While we are in the present moment, we are free from regrets of the past and anxieties for the future.


Mindfulness based therapies are being researched more often, and are showing positive results.
